Desk Dividers For Students

FRONTIER® Desk Dividers are affordable furnishing solutions for classrooms, study rooms and libraries. Most commonly found on large desk banks or tables, these classroom partition are fixed to desktops of school desks to create small, semi-private working spaces for students. This offers a more productive and peaceful working environment for reading, doing homework or studying.

Each screen panel has an internal construction of 2 x 2.5mm medium density fibreboard (MDF) faces that are glued (using water based adhesive) around 20mm recycled paper continuous vented honeycell beecore. The desk panel is then upholstered with Macflex fabric on either side, followed by a 30mm thick full aluminium frame in white or silver. This durable fabric is available in a number of colours and is fire rated, making it safe for use in schools, nurseries, libraries and colleges.

This range of classroom dividers is available in two different heights; 380mm or 480mm, and six different widths; 800mm, 1000mm, 1200mm, 1400mm, 1600mm and 1800mm.

The FRONTIER® desk divider for students is linkable inline using the 2x PVC trims supplied. If you wish to link at a 90-degree angle or join multiple screens in a cross formation for a bank of desks then you will need to purchase a junction post.

These desk dividers are installed using sliding brackets. Screens up to 1800mm wide are supplied with 2x sliding brackets (colour matched to the frame) to suit 17-33mm desktops which are attached to the bottom of the aluminium frame. Desk mounted screens over 1800mm wide are supplied with 3x sliding brackets. The brackets are designed to fit desks that are 17-33mm thick, sliding over the edge of the desk to hold the screen divider in place. 

If your office desk is thicker than the standard brackets (ie. more than 33mm thick) or you have a frame obstruction you need to overcome, please speak to our team to discuss alternative options, we can provide bespoke clamps to suit any desk thickness.

Manufactured to order and dispatched within 10-14 working days.

Please Note: Delivery is to ground floor only. All protective packaging needs to be disposed of / recycled by the recipient. Our delivery drivers cannot take waste packaging. Large quantities of Office Partitions may be delivered on a pallet which is curbside delivery only. Unpacking, pallet disposal and moving of Partitions cannot be undertaken by our drivers.
