Protection Screen For Reception Desks

Designed for use on curved school reception desks, the ACHOO® Curved Glass Reception Screen is a premium screen option for schools, nurseries and other educational establishments. It is designed to form an elegant, stylish partition between staff and visitors - particularly useful for protecting against the spread of Covid-19 or other infectious illnesses. While many social distancing screens are made from Acrylic or Perspex, glass has many advantages over these materials as it is far more resilient to scratches, is easier to clean and keep sanitised and maintain a smear-free finish.

This curved radius reception panel is manufactured from 6mm-thick tempered, toughened safety glass that’s been impact tested to British Standard: BS 6206: 1981 - Class A. Sourced from Pilkington® and Saint-Gobain®, toughened glass is so-called as it is four to five times stronger than traditional annealed float glass. If broken, rather than form sharp shards it disintegrates into small fragments with dulled edges that are less likely to cause injury. However, toughened glass is heavier than acrylic materials, so this screen must be screwed into your reception counter top for safety reasons.

The ACHOO® protection screens for reception desks is available in 4 heights: 400mm, 500mm, 600mm and 700mm. Reception screens can be curved to either an 850mm or 1200mm radius, with smooth polished edges. Custom sizes are available on request. Each screen purchase includes three metal feet.

Delivery

FREE UK DELIVERY. Manufactured to order and dispatched within 10-14 working days. Curving glass requires specialised equipment and experienced staff and does take longer than other models in our screen range. Delivered on a dedicated vehicle. This can add an additional 5 days depending on the geographical location of delivery.

Please Note: Delivery is to ground floor only. All protective packaging needs to be disposed of / recycled by the recipient. Our delivery drivers cannot take waste packaging. Large quantities of Office Partitions may be delivered on a pallet which is curbside delivery only. Unpacking, pallet disposal and moving of Partitions cannot be undertaken by our drivers. Please have adequate facilities and staff in place to accept partition deliveries. Thank you for your understanding.
