Why Use Display Boards in School?

School Display Boards

Displays are a vital component to any learning environment. Most schools have wall mounted notice boards in classrooms, corridors and halls but have you thought of using a portable display board? Display boards are the perfect way to show off anything, from the creativity of your students to important visitor information and news.

All of our display boards are freestanding so can be used anywhere in a school and easily moved to a new position if and when required. Ideal for school reception areas, open days, parents’ evenings, art exhibitions and school events, here are a few reasons why you should consider a display board for your school:

Flexibility

Our panel and pole display boards can be set up in various configurations and orientations depending on your needs and the space you have available.  Create various shapes such as zig zags, curves or simply a straight line that will help you to not only maximise the space you have available but create unique displays that your pupils, staff and visitors can all admire.

Our folding display boards can be set at an angle to fit into a space. They are lightweight, easy to assemble and come with a carry bag to store the boards when not in use.

All of our boards are double sided which allows for a much larger viewing area and is ideal if the stand is in an area that will be seen from both sides.

Versatile

Classroom displays and student presentations may be the first thing that pops into your head when you hear display board, however they offer a much larger range of uses than you may think. In the staff room they can be a simple way of providing information to staff about duties and future events, such as lunch duty rota or upcoming parent’s evenings.

Display boards are also commonly used in school receptions as an effective way to provide information and news to parents and visitors.

Value for Money

Starting at £73 for a table top display board, these essential additions to any school environment are excellent value for money.

Display material is not permanently fixed to the board which means you can use the display board again and again.

Blank Canvas

The blank canvas that a display board provides allows pupils to let their imagination run wild and children can create a unique display. Each display panel is covered in loop nylon fabric which is compatible with Velcro so you simply need to use Velcro to attach your display materials. This also means it is easy to change the display materials when you start a new project.

All of our display boards have a recess on one side so that graphics can remain in place even when the display board itself needs to be stored or transported.

Lightweight and Portable

Although they may look bulky and difficult to transport they are not. For example, the Aluminium 6 Panel School Display Board weighs approximately 9kgs and comes with a carry bag as standard allowing for easy transportation by a single person. The carry bag provided also gives protection to the display board during transport and storage.

Easy to Assemble

Our folding display boards are easily assembled by one person in just a few minutes, they are hinged in two sections which simply unfold and clip together.

The panel and pole display boards are equally as easy to assemble and come in a kit. Clips are used to attach display panels to the poles which means they can be set at any position on the pole depending on your requirements.
